Cirthix has posted a YouTube of his monitor hacking project, to do true 240Hz:
This is a custom electronics board direct-driving an M270HHF-L10 LCD. Although this monitor is not strobed (see Electronics Hacking: Creating Strobe Backlight, a different project), this is a true native 240 Hz, with no frame skipping and no interpolation.
